Lesson 01: Response to "Is the Great American Teacher Dead?" 01/15/2018

I liked so much this text, I enjoyed a lot.  However, like a Latin, I have a strange feeling about the American Teaching.  How can foreing anthropologists say that the "American students were not very deep intellectually".  All the time I was listening that the teachings and the learning in the USA is the best and now, I have a new idea and feeling about that because reading the text I feel that my country and the English teaching is the same in many points, and not only the English if not all the courses at the school.  The thing is that I can see is most in the U.S.A.  When E. L. Cerroni-Long says that the U.S. universities were replete with competitiveness, lack of compassion, cultural casualties and psychological insecurity" I can't understand where is the idea that this education is the best in the world.  Sorry if I very hard with that, but the problem is that all the world based their teachings or education in the American.  Maybe this is the problem in the education through the world.
I loved the phrase from William W. Purkey "The most important aspect of a teacher is to be a romantic" and I can link immediately with the love.  The first principle for me for teaching is the love.  I need to love to teach, but I need to love the student too.  when I have this feeling appears the other attribute for to teach patient, tolerance, sacrifice, positive attitude, justice, inspire, among others.
Den Bain says "that the great ones inspire their students with attention-grabbing ideas, testing general assumptions, tackling captivating problems, and eaning the paradigms that informal social reality" and Nilson says that critical thinking in students is best enhanced by dialogue and learning.
The classroom needs to be alive, it's needed to be active and participative, need to be more deep and personal reflection all the time.  I can't think of the new structure of teaching of the Gospel and how the leaders can help us to think, analyzed, talk and develop our ideas in the classroom.  The student doesn't need only listen and listen all the time, they need to feel and practice the teaching and that is a very big challenge for me.  How can I prepare me for this moment of the teaching, how can I give to the students all the tools or possibilities for improvement in the teaching follow their feelings and experiences.
I would like to write more about the Human Universal Element and I love the means given from the author when he says "these elements can be instructive in the art of teaching".  However, I want to finish writing about the list of 10 principles for planning a good lesson... I felt they are a very good resume of all the teaching that I received in Tesol Variety, encourages, enthusiasm, edifies them, etc. are the best tools for be preparing and share the spirit through the teaching no matter the course.  I hope I never forget that.  Sincerely, I enjoyed it a lot.
